Annakisha Gable Wall:  Work began this week on the inside portion of the gable wall behind the altar.  In 2018 repairs to the parapet of this wall and to the adjoining sacristy roof have greatly reduced rainfall based water ingress to this part of the church.  Now we can address the unsightly effects of the dampness: decayed plasterwork and peeling (oil-based) paint.  All loose plaster and paint is being stripped away in preparation for a lime-based mortar that will allow the wall to emit its moisture content without cracking.  The wall and reredos will be painted later this Summer.
